Uttar Pradesh has Achieved a Major Milestone in the Power Sector by Successfully Meeting a Record Peak Demand of 31,804 MW at 10:39 PM on Saturday Night. This is not only the highest-ever Power supply in Uttar Pradesh but also the highest Electricity supply Achieved by any State in the Country So far.
Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma said that the state government objective is to ensure uninterrupted and Quality Electricity reaches every household, Village and City and Continuous efforts are being made in this direction. He Stated that Power supply across the State was maintained beyond the Scheduled Roster to ensure maximum relief to consumers. Rural areas also received approximately 22 to 22.5 hours of Electricity Supply, Providing major relief to the common People, Farmers, Traders and Industries.
Energy Minister Sharma said that some People are trying to spread Misinformation regarding the State Power Situation, Whereas the reality is that Uttar Pradesh has now become the State supplying the highest amount of Electricity in the Country. He Clarified that technical, natural, or human-induced issues may sometimes cause localized disruptions, but officials and employees of the Power department are working day and night with full dedication and commitment to resolve them Promptly.
He appealed to the people of the State to encourage and support Electricity workers, as they are continuously working in extreme heat and Challenging conditions to Ensure better Power supply for the Public.
