Sachin Malik: Taking an important Step toward Strengthening the industrial ecosystem at the district level in Uttar Pradesh, Invest UP on Monday launched A five-day capacity-building workshop at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow for District Industries Centre (DIC) officers, Joint Commissioners of Industries, Regional Managers and nodal officers of industrial development Authorities.
The Program was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Government Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC), Deepak Kumar. Additional Chief Executive Officer of Invest UP, Prerna Sharma, was also Present on the Occasion.
Addressing the Participants, Deepak Kumar highlighted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Vision of making Uttar Pradesh the “Best State” and the State significant role in achieving the national goal of Developed India @2047. He Stated that transparent Governance, Strong law and order and Proactive support for investors have become key Pillars of Uttar Pradesh industrial Transformation.
He emphasized the crucial role of DIC officers, calling them an important link between Policymaking and Grassroots implementation. He encouraged officials to guide entrepreneurs, Strengthen the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative and adopt Global best Practices to accelerate inclusive industrial development across the State.
This workshop marks the beginning of the third and final batch. Under the State-level Program themed “Learning Journey of DIC,” around 122 officers have been trained So far. The initiative aims to Strengthen institutional capacity at the Grassroots level, further improve the ease of doing business ecosystem and support the State vision of becoming a trillion-dollar Economy.
Over the next five days, Participating officers will receive intensive training on behavioral leadership, finance and investment administration, Startup ecosystems, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, communication Strategies, and emerging industrial trends. The Program is designed to equip district-level officials with modern administrative approaches and Practical Skills to improve investor facilitation, Policy implementation and industrial Development.
