Minister Sharma Stated that the objective of the Women Reservation Bill is to ensure adequate Participation of women in governance and decision-making Processes. He described it as a historic initiative aimed at empowering nearly 50 Percent of the country population. He emphasized that Providing equal rights and respect to women is the responsibility of every Society. Opposing such an important bill, he added, is not in the interest of women and sends the Wrong Message.
He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central government has been consistently working towards the dignity, Safety and empowerment of women.
