Sachin Malik Chitrakoot: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in the religious city of Chitrakoot on Sunday on a one-day visit. The Chief Minister conducted both an aerial and Ground inspection of areas affected by the devastating floods. He met hundreds of families affected by the flooding of the Mandakini River, heard their Grievances and distributed ration kits and Relief materials among Them.
Providing immediate assistance during the disaster, the Chief Minister handed over Cheques of ₹1.20 lakh Each to three flood Victims Whose houses were Completely Destroyed by the floods. Land-allotment Certificates were also Provided to some beneficiaries. The administration is currently conducting a survey and other affected families will also be Provided Similar assistance Soon.
Assurance of Assistance to Every Section
During the distribution of relief materials, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the People that the Uttar Pradesh Government Stands firmly with flood victims during this difficult time. He said that no victim needs to worry. The Government will Provide every Possible assistance to all affected People from every section of society without any Discrimination.
He also issued Strict instructions to officials, making it Clear that Negligence at any level in Relief Operations would Not be Tolerated.
CM Yogi Distributes Cheques and Land-Allotment Certificates
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the flood-affected areas to understand the difficulties being faced by the People and assess the latest Status of relief operations. At the relief-material distribution Programme held at the Ramayan Mela venue in Chitrakoot, the Chief Minister Presented Cheques of ₹1.20 lakh Each to Mukesh, Lallu and Chunnilal, Whose houses were Completely Damaged.
He also handed over land-allotment Certificates to Ram Suraj and Suraj Kali.
Victims Express Gratitude, Say Only Yogi Could Have Reached Them So Quickly
Flood victims appeared happy after receiving immediate assistance from the Chief Minister. They expressed heartfelt Gratitude to him after receiving Relief materials and assurances of Permanent Houses.
Rani and Manju, residents of the Sitapur Malkana area, said that their entire house had been Submerged in the floods and all their household belongings had been destroyed. They Said that the Chief Minister Personally came and Provided them with ration kits, Which brought them Great Relief. They added that the Chief Minister had also assured them that new houses would be constructed for them.
Asha, a resident of Katra Gujar Village, said that her house had been Submerged in the floods. However, due to the alertness of the administration and the Yogi Government, they had been receiving food and essential supplies continuously since the first day of the disaster. She said that even during the crisis, they were not allowed to Go Hungry.
Another flood victim, Gyan Singh, said that his mud house had Collapsed in the floods. He received a ration kit and an assurance that a new house would be constructed for him. He said, “I have never seen a Chief Minister like this in my life, Who comes among the victims So Quickly and Shares their Pain. What Yogi has done has Never been done by any Chief Minister Before.”
The People of Chitrakoot and their Elected representatives Strongly appreciated the Chief Minister Prompt visit and sensitivity towards the flood Victims.
After inspecting the flood-affected areas, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with the local administration and directed officials to restore normalcy at the earliest and accelerate rehabilitation Efforts.
