Sachin Malik Lucknow: Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma today heard Public Grievances received from various districts through Sambhav (Grievance Redressal Portal). Sharma.

While hearing complaints related to the Energy Department, Ram Pratap Singh of Ghazipur raised the issue of work not being Started despite Payment of the estimated amount. Taking the matter seriously, Energy Minister A.K. Sharma directed the Managing Director of Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam to investigate the case and take necessary action. He said that failure to commence work even after Payment of the required amount was a serious lapse. Such negligence damages the department image and sends a wrong message to the Public.

He directed the Managing Director to investigate the matter and ensure appropriate action as Per the rules. In another case in Firozabad concerning compensation following the death of a contractual worker, the victim family expressed Gratitude to Minister A.K. Sharma after Payment of the compensation was Facilitated.

During the hearing of complaints related to the Urban Development Department, Ankit Bharti of Shahjahanpur raised an issue regarding non-updation of records despite Payment of taxes. Minister A.K. Sharma expressed displeasure with the concerned officials and Questioned why such complaints had reached the ministerial level in the first Place. He asked why such matters were not resolved at the lower level. He Clearly warned that if such complaints were reported again, action would be taken against the concerned officials.
