NEW DELHI : The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced a temporary shutdown of its e-Office application on Wednesday (August 5, 2026) to carry out a scheduled system upgrade.
According to an official communication, the EPFO e-Office application will remain unavailable on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

During the maintenance period, the EPFO e-Office application will not be accessible, and the upgradation of the following modules has been scheduled for Wednesday 5.
Previous downtime in July:
EPFO had earlier announced that it was carrying out a major technology upgrade involving database consolidation and software improvements in July.

Services were expected to resume from 12 am on July 2.
Originally, the maintenance window was expected to conclude on June 28, with services scheduled to return on June 29. However, the deadline was subsequently revised to July 1, then extended to July 2, and has now been pushed back once more to July 3.
