Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Minister for Urban Development and Energy A.K. Sharma, Conducted a surprise inspection of the Electricity Grievance Service center 1912 today. During the inspection, he Personally spoke to consumers over the Phone to understand their issues and the Status of complaint resolution, while also issuing necessary instructions to the concerned Officials.
During the visit, Minister Sharma thoroughly reviewed the complaint resolution Process and expressed displeasure over the Practice of operators merely forwarding Complaints to the concerned officers without subsequently taking feedback from either the consumers or the officials. He Clearly directed that merely forwarding complaints after registration is not sufficient, it must also be ensured that the Problems are resolved in a timely and Satisfactory Manner.
The Energy Minister instructed officials to continuously monitor complaint resolution and obtain feedback from consumers regarding the quality of the resolution Provided. He Stated that Providing better Electricity services to consumers is the Government top Priority and that no negligence in this regard will be Tolerated.
Minister Sharma further said that if any negligence or indifference is found at any level in resolving complaints, Strict action will be taken against the concerned officers and employees as Per rules. He also issued necessary directions to make the system more effective and Accountable.
