Sachin Malik: On the instructions of Uttar Pradesh Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma, Strict action has been taken against officials of the electricity department found negligent in Performing their duties. Minister Sharma Clearly Stated that any indifference toward Power supply and Public services during the intense summer season would not be Tolerated.
In this regard, Executive Engineer Yogesh Kumar (SAP ID: 11008086), Posted in Meerut, has been suspended with immediate effect for negligence in departmental work. Similarly, Executive Engineer Rahul (SAP ID: 15000544), Posted in Ghaziabad, has also been suspended with immediate effect after being found seriously Negligent in discharging his Responsibilities.
A Preliminary inquiry revealed that Executive Engineer Rahul, Posted in Electricity Distribution Division-II, Ghaziabad, Showed serious laxity in carrying out departmental responsibilities, leading to disciplinary action against Him.
Additionally, Ramanand (SAP ID: 11007398), Superintending Engineer, Ghaziabad, has been given a special adverse entry for not Showing adequate interest and expected activeness in departmental Work.
Further, Chief Engineer (Transmission), West Meerut, Satyendra Singh and Chief Engineer, Agra, Shailesh Gupta have also been issued warnings for negligence in their Duties.
On this occasion, Energy Minister A.K. Sharma said that the State government is fully committed to Providing uninterrupted and Quality Power supply to the Public. He emphasized that no negligence or carelessness regarding electricity management during the summer season would be tolerated. He also directed officials to give top Priority to Power supply, grievance redressal and field monitoring so that the Public does not face any Inconvenience.
