Sachin Malik: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, during his visit to Khatima, inaugurated several development Projects at the Block Development Office campus aimed at Strengthening education, Youth Empowerment and Public facilities. Inaugurating Projects completed at a cost of approximately ₹8.9 Million, the Chief Minister said that the State Government is continuously working towards ensuring a brighter future for youth, quality education and building a healthy Society.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the modern “Didi Ki Library” constructed at a cost of ₹5.5 Million, a renovated and modernized Gymnasium building developed at a cost of ₹0.75 million and modernization works of the Block Development Auditorium completed at a cost of ₹2.65 Million. He Stated that these facilities would Prove highly beneficial for Students, Youth and the general Public while opening new avenues for educational Development.
Chief Minister Dhami said that education is the Strongest foundation for the Progress of any Society. The newly established Didi Ki Library in Khatima will become an important center of knowledge for Students and youth Preparing for competitive examinations. Equipped with modern facilities, the library will Provide a Peaceful and conducive environment for Studies, helping Students Prepare better and achieve their Goals.
He further said that many talented Students in rural and border areas often remain deprived of quality educational resources due to a lack of facilities. The new library will act as a boon for such Students. Through books and Study materials available there, Youth will get better opportunities to Prepare for competitive exams and higher education. He added that the library is not merely a collection of books but also a Strong medium for turning the dreams of Young People into Reality.
The Chief Minister Stated that the government is continuously working towards women empowerment and in line with this vision the library will be managed by women from self-help Groups, Helping increase their Income.
He added that the Government aim is to ensure that every young Person in the State gets an opportunity to move forward according to their talent and capabilities. Along with strengthening educational infrastructure, Kefforts are also being made to expand modern Study facilities. The library established in Khatima will Play an important role in Shaping the future of thousands of Students in the coming Years.
7 Highlighting the renovation and modernization of the gymnasium building as another important initiative for youth, he said that a healthy mind Resides in a healthy body. Equipped with modern equipment and improved facilities, the gymnasium will help Promote fitness, sports and health awareness among young People.
He further noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, campaigns such as the Fit India Movement and healthy lifestyles are being promoted across the country. The Uttarakhand government is also continuously expanding sports and fitness facilities to encourage youth towards a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free lifestyle.
Chief Minister Dhami said that the state government is working equally across sectors such as education, health, sports, employment and infrastructure so that the benefits of development reach every section of society. He added that Khatima, being his home constituency, holds special importance in terms of his commitment to development, and continuous efforts will be made for its overall Progress.
