Sachin Malik: Ghaziabad Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik conducted an inspection from Mohan Nagar Tiraaha to Gyani Border, during Which he reviewed dust accumulated along roadsides, the condition of the central verge green belt and negligence by the Municipal Corporation, Jal Nigam and PWD departments. Expressing dissatisfaction, he reprimanded officials and issued Strict instructions to launch a major campaign within the next 10 days to completely make the major route connecting Delhi to Ghaziabad dust-free. He also directed departments to ensure Public convenience during ongoing works and issued Strict instructions to the Construction Department and PWD Officials.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Avnindra Kumar, who was Present at the Site, was directed to immediately deploy teams and equipment to initiate a dust-free Campaign.
Instructions were also given to organize and repair the central verge and green belt Stretching over approximately 5 Kilometers from Mohan Nagar to Gyani Border, along with installing flower Pots and other beautification measures. In-Charge of the Horticulture Department, Dr. Anuj, was directed to ensure Greenery along the Stretch from Mohan Nagar to Rajendra Nagar, Shyam Park, Raj Bagh, Shaheed Nagar and Gyani Border.
Orders were also issued to remove encroachments from Green belts and take Strict action against illegal encroachers. Directions were also given to develop Green areas in the form of Nurseries.
Officials of Jal Nigam were instructed to complete ongoing works and remove debris unnecessarily spread across roads. General Manager (Water), Kamakhya Prasad Anand, Who was Present at the Site, was directed to take necessary action. PWD officials were instructed to make roads Pothole-free and carry out road repair Works. Chief Engineer (Construction), Narendra Kumar Chaudhary, was directed to coordinate with PWD officials and ensure Prompt Action.
The Municipal Commissioner also Strongly reprimanded the Health Department team for negligence and ordered an immediate large-Scale Cleanliness drive on the major route. Municipal Health Officer Dr. Mithilesh was directed to issue notices against Shopkeepers and Establishments where dirt and dust were found outside their Premises.
Following the Municipal Commissioner directions, the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation immediately launched a large-Scale Cleanliness and dust-free campaign from Mohan Nagar to Gyani Border. The Water Department carried out water sprinkling, while the Construction Department initiated a drive to remove construction materials. JCB Machines and sanitation workers removed dust from roads and the Horticulture Department Started organizing and restoring the Green Belt.
A major campaign is being conducted to fully organize and make the route dust-free within the next 10 days, with special coordination and communication initiated with PWD and Jal Nigam departments for Necessary Action.
