Sachin Malik: A Meeting was held at the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation headquarters under the Chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik to review the resolution of Public grievances and ensure quality disposal of complaints. Officials and teams from all departments Participated in the meeting, including the Water Works Department, Construction Department, Health Department, Horticulture Department, Property Department, Lighting Department, Tax Department and other related Sections.
The Municipal Commissioner reviewed complaints received through the 311 application, IGRS, call center, social media Platforms and CUG numbers. Special emphasis was Placed on the Water Works, Construction and Health Departments, with strict instructions issued to enhance monitoring and ensure effective and quality resolution of Complaints.
The Municipal Commissioner directed all departmental officials and teams to work in coordination and remain vigilant towards maintaining the Cleanliness and beautification of the city. Instructions were also given to make major roads dust-free as Part of the Cleanliness drive, including the regular removal of dust accumulated along Roadsides.
It was further directed that, along with resolving complaints, feedback regarding Satisfaction from complainants must also be obtained compulsorily. Departments were instructed to Prioritize Cleanliness of Parks, repair of footpaths and maintenance work in Parks across all wards. Officials were also directed to conduct mandatory field inspections to ensure timely resolution of Issues.
The Municipal Commissioner Stated that resolving Public grievances is the top Priority of the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation. Officials were instructed to mandatorily attend calls from the Public and Public representatives and in case of missed calls, callbacks Should also be ensured. Strict action would be taken against officials who fail to respond to calls. Special directions in this regard were issued to all Junior Engineers.
The meeting was attended by Additional Municipal Commissioners Jung Bahadur Yadav and Avnindra Kumar, along with officials from all departments and zonal In-Charges.
