Sachin Malik: Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Member of Parliament from Rajasthan, attended the inauguration ceremony of a Classroom at the Government Senior Secondary School in Lawa village of Jaisalmer district and described the institution as an outstanding example of rural talent development. He said the school is an inspiration for those who believe that success depends only on expensive resources and Infrastructure.
Addressing the gathering, Shekhawat said that the Lawa School has Proved that if teachers dedication and villagers determination unite, no obstacle is impossible to overcome. For the Past 12 years, the elders of the village have consistently submitted representations not for Personal benefit or infrastructure demands, but for the betterment of the School and the future of Children. As a result, Students from ordinary backgrounds are now achieving success in medicine and other Prestigious Professions.
The Union Minister also felicitated former students who have excelled in different fields after studying at the school. He urged them to repay the debt of their alma mater through guidance and mentorship. He appealed to successful alumni to spend an hour with Students whenever they visit their native village, saying that their experiences and motivation would become a source of inspiration for the younger Generation.
Responding Promptly to the School demands, Shekhawat announced that the institution would soon be connected with modern facilities. He assured the establishment of a state-of-the-art digital library and an RO water Purification Plant in the School.
Sharing Prime Minister Narendra Modi vision of a “Developed India,” he said that today students would lead a strong and capable India by 2047. He also called upon teachers not only to impart academic knowledge but also to shape responsible citizens capable of handling the challenges of a developed nation.
