Sachin Malik: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, several Programs were organized across the city. The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation carried out extensive arrangements ranging from maintaining Cleanliness to beautifying Parks. Special sanitation drives were conducted at Program venues, along with arrangements such as lime sprinkling. Parks where statues of Babasaheb are installed were decorated with flowers.
As Per the directions of Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik, the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was also observed at the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation. Additional Municipal Commissioner Jung Bahadur Yadav, In-Charge of Horticulture Dr. Anuj, General Manager (Water) K.P. Anand and other officials Paid floral tributes. The Municipal Commissioner also offered garlands and Paid homage to Babasaheb statue and extended greetings to the Citizens.
Dr. Anuj informed that prior to the anniversary, arrangements at Program sites and Parks were managed by gardeners. Necessary Painting work was carried out on all statues, along with repair, Painting and maintenance work in nearby Parks.
Based on received requests, special attention was given to Parks where statues of Babasaheb Ambedkar are installed.
Along with managing arrangements, the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation also organized grand Programs in all wards on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti. The Swachh Bharat Mission team Provided special support. In various wards, councilors offered Garlands and flowers to Babasaheb statues and Pledged to follow the Path Shown by him. Slogans Praising Babasaheb were raised and the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the City.
