Uttar Pradesh: Complaints and debates about filth in the city are common, but when it comes to fixing responsibility, silence often prevails. Raising questions on this situation, 15-year-old boys Sumit Kesarwani and Saksham Kesarwani from the Jhunsi area of Prayagraj have written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, expressing their concern and offering suggestions regarding Public Cleanliness and the habit of people spitting after consuming pan and Gutkha.

In the letter, the boys have demanded a strict ban and imposition of fines on those who throw garbage in Public places and spit here and there after eating pan-gutkha. They stated that unless rules are enforced strictly, people habits will not change and keeping the city clean will remain difficult. Sumit Kesarwani also wrote that every citizen must show discipline and responsibility for cleanliness, emphasizing that small efforts by each individual can collectively bring a big Change to the City.
This letter reaching the Chief Minister reflects a level of thinking and social awareness far beyond their age. It shows that the younger generation does not see Clean India merely as a slogan, but as a behavior and civic duty. The boy initiative also raises an important question before society: when a 15-year-old child can speak about civic sense, are we all fulfilling our Responsibilities?
