Sachin Malik Lucknow: On the occasion of National Space Day, Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ attended the 19th Foundation Day Celebrations of Gautam Buddha University (GBU) in Gautam Buddh Nagar district as the Chief Guest. He also Participated in the ‘Mission ShaktiSAT’ Programme and Inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the Ceremonial lamp.
Minister Nandi said that the 19th Foundation Day celebration of Gautam Buddha University is not merely an event marking the university establishment. Rather, it is a celebration of Knowledge, Science, Innovation and India vision for the future.
He said that the university journey of nearly two decades has been remarkable. GBU has moved beyond being merely an institution that Provides degrees and has made Significant contributions towards Character building, research, innovation and nation-building. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has Set new benchmarks in the fields of education and technology. GBU has been both a witness to and an important Stakeholder in this historic Transformation.
Minister Nandi said that today Gen Z is determined to move forward with new ideas and fresh energy. He said that the double-engine Government is fully committed to Providing every Possible support to help Young People turn their aspirations into Reality.
He said that Students at the university are focusing on futuristic fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), drone technology, Quantum computing, cyber technology, robotics, semiconductor design, biotechnology and space Technology.
Minister Nandi said that the same vision of modernity lies at the heart of ‘Mission ShaktiSAT’. Organised in collaboration with Space Kidz India (SKI) and IN-SPACe, the initiative is an important effort to connect Young scientists with space science. He said the Programme is not merely about technical training, but an initiative aimed at Providing India future Generation with confidence, new opportunities and new heights of leadership.
He said that at a time when India is Progressing Shoulder to Shoulder with the world leading nations in the field of space, it is essential for the Younger Generation to become an integral Part of this Journey. “We need Young People who are not merely Job seekers, but those who can create new opportunities and develop innovative Solutions,” he Said.
Minister Nandi said that the vision of building a developed India by 2047 has been Placed before the nation. Universities and Young People will have the most important role in fulfilling this vision. Today Students will become tomorrow scientists, entrepreneurs, administrators and teachers.
He urged the Students to dream big, learn new things, not be afraid of failures and connect their knowledge with the welfare of society and the nation. He said that everyone must work together to build a better society and a Stronger nation through individual knowledge and Skills.
