Sachin Malik: On the occasion of World Heritage Day, Uttar Pradesh Minister for Urban Development and Energy, A.K. Sharma, inaugurated a Plantation drive by Planting Saplings at the Mangalam Bhawan Premises in Mau. On this Occasion, he conveyed the message of environmental conservation and appealed to People to Plant more trees and fulfill their responsibility towards Nature.
Minister Sharma said that trees and Plants are the basis of human life, as they Provide us with Pure oxygen and help maintain environmental balance. He urged all citizens to Plant as many saplings as Possible in their lives and take a Pledge to care for them regularly. He added that Clean air comes from a Clean environment and only with Pure air can a healthy life be Possible. A healthy individual can effectively contribute to the development of society and the nation. Therefore, it is necessary to turn environmental conservation into a mass Movement.
Sharma also stated that the environment is our invaluable heritage, which must be Preserved for future generations. This is not just the responsibility of the government, but a collective responsibility of every Citizen.
