Sachin Malik: From Kashi to Ayodhya and Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh was immersed in devotion to Lord Shiva on the sacred Monday of the holy month of Sawan. From the revered Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple to small and large Shiva temples in neighbourhoods, the chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Bam Bam Bhole” resonated Everywhere.

As soon as the temple doors opened, a massive rush of devotees began arriving, continuing until the evening aarti. Groups of Kanwariyas carrying holy Ganga water on their Shoulders marched ahead Chanting “Bol Bam,” creating an atmosphere filled with devotion to Lord Shiva. At several Places, devotees Performed Rudrabhishek and offered prayers to Lord Shiva.

Devotional Spirit Peaks in Kashi, Long Queues for Baba Vishwanath Darshan

The enthusiasm in the holy city of Kashi was at its Peak on the sacred Monday of Sawan. Devotees had Started arriving in Varanasi Since Sunday night to seek the blessings of Baba Vishwanath.

From the Streets to the temple complex, devotees were seen eagerly waiting to Perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva. Kanwariyas took a holy dip in the Ganga, filled their containers with sacred water and then Proceeded towards the Vishwanath Temple in disciplined Queues.

The temple Premises reverberated with the sounds of bells, Gongs and damru. Amid extensive security arrangements, devotees offered milk, curd, honey, bel leaves, bhang and dhatura to Lord Shiva during the Jalabhishek.

In the evening, the entire Ghats came alive with the Glow of lamps during the Ganga Aarti. Local traders also displayed a spirit of service by setting up drinking-water Stalls and bhandaras at several Places for Devotees.

Heavy Rush at Shiva Temples in Prayagraj, Devotees Perform Jalabhishek

In Prayagraj, the city of Pilgrimage, major Shiva temples including the famous Mankameshwar Temple witnessed long Queues of devotees from the early morning.

After taking a holy dip at the Sangam, devotees collected sacred water in vessels and headed towards nearby Shiva temples. Groups of Kanwariyas dressed in saffron attire and carrying decorated bamboo kanwars on their Shoulders were seen Chanting “Jai Bholenath” as they moved through the Streets.

Flower, Garland and bel-leaf vendors outside the temples also witnessed considerable activity. As evening approached, special adornments and Rudrabhishek ceremonies were organised at several temples.

Chants of Lord Shiva Reverberate Through the City of Lord Ram

From the ancient Nageshwar Nath Temple to Kshireswar Nath, Panchmukhi Mahadev and Jharkhandeshwar Nath temples, the chants of “Har Har Mahadev” continued to reverberate across Ayodhya until late Evening.

A large number of devotees Gathered from the Ram Lalla temple to Hanumangarhi. The Chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Bam Bam Bhole” echoed across the entire Awadh Region.

After taking a holy dip in the Saryu, devotees carried sacred water to the Nageshwar Nath Temple and Performed Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva. Rudrabhishek, offering of bel leaves, bhajans and devotional singing continued throughout the day at various temples.

The Ram Ki Paidi area also witnessed a vibrant Gathering of devotees, Presenting a beautiful confluence of faith in Lord Ram and Lord Shiva.

Kanwar Yatra Creates Devotional Atmosphere, “Bol Bam” Echoes Across Roads

The enthusiasm surrounding the Kanwar Yatra reached its Peak across Uttar Pradesh on the sacred Monday of Sawan. Kanwariyas dressed in saffron attire were seen travelling towards their respective destinations on foot, bicycles and vehicles, carrying beautifully decorated kanwars on their Shoulders.

At several locations along the routes, voluntary organisations and local residents arranged rest camps, refreshments and medical facilities for the Kanwariyas.

Kanwariyas dancing to devotional music Played on DJ and Chanting “Bol Bam, Bol Bam” transformed the atmosphere into one of intense religious fervour. At several Places, Kanwariyas were warmly welcomed with flower Showers.
