Sachin Malik: A Review meeting on the effective implementation and Progress of the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM Yuva Yojana) was held at the Collectorate Auditorium under the Chairmanship of Chief Development Officer, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Bhalchandra Tripathi. The meeting was attended by Regional Managers of various banks, Assistant General Managers (AGM), district-level banking officials and officers from the concerned Departments.
During the meeting, Assistant Commissioner, Industries, Vats briefed the Chief Development Officer on the Progress of the Scheme. He informed that the Process of sanctioning and disbursing loans to eligible Youth under the CM Yuva Yojana is being carried out continuously to Promote Self-Employment.
However, he also Pointed out that the Performance of some banks has not met the Prescribed Targets.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the Slow Progress, the Chief Development Officer directed the concerned bank officials to ensure that there is no laxity in implementing this Priority Scheme of the State Government. He instructed all banks to expedite the disposal of Pending applications and Provide timely loans to Eligible beneficiaries. He emphasized that the objective of the Scheme is to make Young People Self-Reliant through Self-Employment and that negligence in achieving the targets would not be Tolerated.
The Chief Development Officer further instructed officials to conduct regular reviews of the Scheme and Strengthen coordination between banks and Government departments to ensure timely achievement of the targets. He Stressed that maximum Eligible Youth Should be benefited under the Scheme to Promote Entrepreneurship and Generate employment opportunities in the District.
The meeting was attended by the Lead District Manager, Regional Managers of various banks, Assistant General Managers (AGM), officials of the Industries Department and other concerned departmental Officers.
