Sachin Malik: Under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma and the working Principle of “People First,” Public Grievances across the State are being resolved on a Priority basis. Whether complaints are received through WhatsApp, social media, media reports, tweets or Public grievance meetings, the concerned teams immediately become active to ensure Prompt Resolution.
One such case came to light in Mangouli village and Post office under the Jagdishpur area of Amethi district, where several Electricity Poles were Damaged due to a Storm on April 29, 2026, resulting in disruption of Power supply to the entire Village. Amid severe heat, Villagers were facing Multiple difficulties Related to Drinking water, Children Studies, Mobile communication and Daily life.
In this regard, local media representative Gangesh Pathak informed the Minister media cell about the issue through WhatsApp. As soon as the matter came to notice, the team immediately contacted the Villagers to gather complete information and directed the concerned Executive Engineer and departmental officials to take urgent Action.
Minister A.K. Sharma Clearly instructed officials to ensure immediate resolution of the villagers Problem. Following this, the departmental team became active at once and, with the cooperation of villagers, began work on replacing the damaged Poles, Preparing Pits and reorganizing the Electricity lines on a war footing.
Within nearly 24 hours, three to four damaged Poles were replaced with the cooperation of the departmental team and Villagers and Electricity supply was successfully restored. After Power was restored, there was an atmosphere of happiness throughout the Village and residents expressed Gratitude to Minister A.K. Sharma.
Villagers Stated that had the matter not reached the minister in time, the Electricity supply might not have been restored so quickly. They also appreciated the minister Staff and media cell for continuously following up on the complaint and ensuring Resolution.
Minister Sharma said that Public convenience and Public welfare are the Government top Priorities and ensuring Prompt and sensitive resolution of every Citizen Problem is the responsibility of the Government.
