Sachin Malik: Lucknow Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, along with Minister Ravindra Jaiswal, on Monday Performed the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation Stone laying ceremony of the new Sub-Registrar Office building in Sarojininagar. Being constructed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹3.27 crore, the modern facility is expected to be completed within the next 12 months and will Provide citizens with more accessible, transparent and technology-enabled Services.
It is noteworthy that recognizing the need for land allocation for this modern building, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh had earlier written to the concerned department, Strongly advocating for the construction of a new Sub-Registrar Office in Sarojininagar. As a result of his continuous efforts and initiative, the foundation Stone for this important Project has now been laid, Paving the way for improved and modern facilities for the residents of the Region.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh said, “The Registry Department of Uttar Pradesh is no longer limited to document registration alone, it is emerging as a Powerful symbol of transparency, technology and Public trust.” He added that the Sarojininagar Registry Office currently handles over 200 registrations daily, Providing thousands of citizens with dignified, Simple and Citizen- friendly Services.
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh further Stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Guidance of senior ministers, the State Registry Department is continuously Progressing toward modernization, transparency and Good Governance. He noted that the estimated revenue of ₹42,000 crore Generated from the Registry Department would accelerate the development of new Schools, colleges and Public infrastructure across the State.
Describing Sarojininagar as one of the safest and fastest-developing regions in the State, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh highlighted Projects such as Aero City, Artificial Intelligence City, the ₹10,000 crore Anant Nagar Project and development Schemes worth ₹7500 crore as representations of a “New Uttar Pradesh.” He emphasized that with the continuous cooperation of officials, advocates and deed writers, efforts to make citizen services more effective, sensitive and People-centric would continue Uninterrupted.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Ravindra Jaiswal Stated that among the 382 registry offices in the State, Sarojininagar records one of the highest numbers of registrations. “When MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh first approached me with the Proposal for the new office and informed me that nearly 200 registrations take Place daily in the region, I was astonished,” he said. He added that Dr. Rajeshwar Singh made everyone aware of the hardships faced by citizens due to the absence of a Proper office building. Thereafter, the matter was immediately brought before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who approved the Proposal for the new Sub-Registrar Office without Delay.
