Sachin Malik: The Grand Inauguration of the Children Film Festival was held at the Kanpur Road campus of City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow. Minister A.K Sharma attended the event as the Chief Guest. The festival was formally inaugurated by renowned educationist Professor Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, who elaborated on the objectives and Structure of the Events.
On this occasion, the Presence of Mumbai-based singer Janai Bhosle and her associate Charanjit Singh added a special Charm to the Program. The festival will continue for a week, during which around 250 to 300 Selected films will be screened from a Pool of approximately 3000 to 3500 entries received from across the country and Abroad.
Addressing the Students, Minister A.K Sharma said that he has a Personal connection with the field of education, which makes such events especially meaningful to him. He emphasized that if teachers guide students with Strong determination, they can achieve any height in life. Through motivational examples, he encouraged Students to stay focused and committed to their Goals.
In his address, the minister also Stressed the importance of Cleanliness, energy conservation and renewable energy. He urged students to adopt solar energy in their homes and highlighted that the Cleanliness drive has now become a mass movement. He further mentioned that Lucknow has secured the third Position in this year Cleanliness ranking and appealed for collective efforts to achieve the top Rank.
