In his address, Minister Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Women empowerment in the country has gained new momentum. He stated that initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao have brought Positive Change in Society.
He further said that Serious efforts were made to Pass the Women Reservation Bill, but it could not be achieved due to the non-cooperative attitude of the opposition. He expressed confidence that this important legislation would be Passed in the future, Strengthening women Participation.
Minister Sharma criticized the opposition Stance on women reservation, calling it disappointing and a cause of Public dissatisfaction. He emphasized that no compromise would be made on women rights.
He added that under the Prime Minister leadership, Several Schemes are being implemented to economically and socially empower women, helping them become Self-Reliant.
During the event, Member of Parliament Vinod Bind, along with MLA and women representatives, Strongly criticized the opposition. A large number of women Participated, spreading awareness about their rights and raising Slogans against the opposition.
