Sachin Malik New York: India once again exposed Pakistan on the Global Stage over the issue of terrorism at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Sixth Committee (Legal Affairs). During a discussion on the topic, “Measures to Eliminate International Terrorism,” India First Secretary to the United Nations, Raghu Puri, exercised India “Right of Reply” to counter misleading Statements made by the Pakistani Representative.

India Permanent Mission to the UN in New York Shared the Indian diplomat Statement on ‘X’. He said that the real Question is: What happens When terrorists receive money, assistance, training, Shelter or support from the territory of a country? Terrorism cannot be defeated merely through Statements. It requires action against those responsible, the organizers, financiers and sponsors.

Puri said Pakistan Portrays itself as a “frontline State” and a victim, but hides the fact that the “Frankensteins” it created and Subsequently lost control over are now wreaking havoc not only in neighbouring countries but also inside Pakistan itself. Pakistan own leaders have revealed this fact. “You cannot Support two opposing Sides at the same time,” he Said.

India made it Clear that Pakistan announcement of a higher reward for UN-listed Masood Azhar, the Jaish-E-Mohammed (JEM) Chief and mastermind behind attacks on India, is merely a Show. The world is aware of the financial support that terrorism receives from Pakistan. Just a few months ago, Pakistani representatives had described the JEM as “inactive.” If the media can reach Azhar and obtain his confirmation regarding “Operation Sindoor,” the Pakistani Government would certainly Know where he Is.

He further said that the world has not forgotten 9/11 or the Place where Osama bin Laden was found. Nor has it forgotten 26/11 or Pahalgam. Many families are Still waiting for Justice, While the Perpetrators remain free. The victims of Pahalgam were asked about their religion, not their Politics. It is highly ironic that Pakistan speaks of fighting religious hatred while itself Promoting cross-border Terrorism.

Pakistan is desperate to Promote its Military narrative about “Operation Sindoor” and is engaged in narrative-building, spreading misinformation and disinformation. If destroyed airfields and cratered runways look like a victory to Pakistan, it can happily celebrate them, he Said.

The Indian diplomat not only exposed Pakistan hollow Promises of being a “frontline State” in the Global fight against terrorism, but also highlighted the heavy damage it Suffered during “Operation Sindoor,” making it Clear to the world that destruction Should not be Portrayed as Victory.
