Sachin Malik Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Health Department has been put on high alert in view of the rising cases of seasonal fever and viral fever across the state. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has directed the department to remain fully vigilant. He issued a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, instructing that necessary Guidelines be issued to all Chief Medical Officers, Chief Medical Superintendents and medical institutions across the State.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed that every Patient reporting to a hospital with fever Should undergo all necessary tests immediately and receive treatment with utmost caution. He instructed officials to regularly visit hospitals under their Jurisdiction, monitor the condition of Patients and ensure Proper treatment facilities for all.
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak made it Clear that emergency services must continue uninterrupted and that there Should be no Shortage of medicines or other essential treatment facilities. He also directed authorities to ensure the continuous availability of doctors and other essential medical Staff at Hospitals.
Special Attention to Cleanliness
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak directed hospitals to Pay special attention to Cleanliness and ensure all necessary measures to Prevent infections. In view of the increasing cases of seasonal and viral fever, he instructed officials to maintain continuous monitoring of Patients and ensure that there is no negligence at any level in treatment arrangements.
He also directed Strict compliance with all the instructions. He appealed to Patients not to Panic over seasonal fever and advised them to visit the nearest health centre or hospital and seek medical Assistance.
