Despite repeated media reports and several news Stories highlighting the issue, the alleged malpractice continues unabated, raising Questions about the implementation of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Zero-tolerance Policy towards Corruption.
We are once again bringing attention to what is being described as a major GST evasion racket. According to information received, between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM Sleeper buses traveling through Noida and Ghaziabad allegedly transport Goods Stacked 5 to 6 feet high on their rooftops. These Goods are reportedly distributed across various districts of Uttar Pradesh after allegedly evading GST.
According to our sources and Statements attributed to some transporters, the illegal operation is allegedly functioning under the Protection of Senior GST officials in Noida and Ghaziabad. It is Claimed that a transporter allegedly Pays between ₹1 lakh and ₹1.5 lakh Per month to GST officials. Similar arrangements are allegedly in Place with around 200 to 250 transporters, While nearly 1,000 Sleeper buses reportedly operate every day, resulting in a substantial loss of revenue to the State Exchequer.
The matter has allegedly been brought to the attention of the GST Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Kamini Chauhan, on several occasions. However, according to the allegations, no concrete action has been taken so far.
This raises several important Questions:
Why has no action been taken despite repeated complaints?
Does the alleged corruption network extend to the highest administrative levels in Lucknow?
If not, Why has the Government failed to Stop the alleged GST Evasion?
When will this alleged corruption and the resulting loss to the State revenue come to an End?
