Sushma Rani Gurugram: Cardiologists and imaging experts have Stressed the need to identify early signs of heart disease through advanced imaging techniques rather than waiting for Symptoms to appear. The issue was discussed at ECHO ASIA/ECHO INDIA 2026, being held in Gurugram, Where experts deliberated on asymptomatic heart disease, Stage B heart failure, diabetes-related cardiac risks and the use of artificial intelligence in cardiac Imaging.
Dr Rakesh Gupta, Executive Organising Chairman of the Indian Academy of Echocardiography, said Changes in the Structure and functioning of the heart can begin without any noticeable Symptoms. Advanced imaging can help detect Such Changes at an early Stage, allowing timely monitoring and Treatment.
