On this occasion, the MLA of Sarojininagar honored 6 meritorious students with laptops and 10 talented daughters with bicycles. Along with promoting education, Dr. Singh also made several key announcements regarding the development of the village. He announced a grant of ₹50,000 for the beautification of the Shiv Temple in Saraiya, installation of 20 solar lights, and responding to the villagers’ request, committed to sending three buses to Ayodhya under the Ramrath Shravan Yatra initiative.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Singh said, “It always gives me immense happiness to honor meritorious students, for these children are the future of our society, our Sarojininagar and our nation.” He informed that more than 1500 meritorious students have been honored with laptops and bicycles across the Sarojininagar constituency so far. He further stated that computer centers and smart panels have been set up in over 60 schools to ensure rural students get direct access to modern technical education.
Dr. Singh emphasized that Sarojininagar is emerging as a leading region in the field of education. He mentioned that significant educational institutions such as a degree college for girls in Latifnagar, an ITI in Niwan, a Lucknow University agriculture campus and the Foreign Language University have been established, marking the beginning of a new era in education. He added that in the near future, computer literacy will become essential for all employment sectors and his vision is that jobs should reach the youth in their villages, rather than students being forced to migrate to cities in search of opportunities.
Public Welfare Achievements
Highlighting various welfare initiatives, Dr. Singh shared that 350 handpumps and 1500 solar lights have been installed across the rural areas of Sarojininagar— a record achievement. So far, over ₹22 crore has been provided as financial assistance to 1200 needy citizens through the Chief Minister Relief Fund. He also mentioned that through the ‘Tara Shakti Rasoi’ initiative, around 4,000 people are provided free meals daily and under the Bal Seva Yojana, economically weak families are being supported on a priority basis. Dr. Singh stated that these efforts are not merely acts of service, but symbols of social responsibility upheld by the Sarojininagar family.
Speaking about the government achievements, he said, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, criminals have fled the state and under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every welfare scheme, from housing and toilets to Ayushman Bharat and public welfare- has reached every village.” He concluded by saying that this transformation in Sarojininagar has been made possible through the participation of every citizen.
