Sachin Malik: Under the Chairmanship of the District Magistrate and Principal District Census Officer, Gautam Buddh Nagar, a review meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium to mark the successful completion of the first Phase of Census-2027. The meeting was attended by all Charge Officers, Assistant Charge Officers, and other concerned officials. On the occasion, the District Magistrate congratulated and extended his best wishes to all officers and employees associated with the census work, appreciating their dedication and valuable Contribution.
The District Magistrate Stated that all activities assigned under the first Pahase of the Census had been completed Successfully, Stematically and within the stipulated timeline in Accordance with the Guidelines and standards Prescribed by the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, Government of India. He commended the commitment, coordination and hard work of all officials involved, emphasizing that the success of the first phase was the result of collective efforts and strong Teamwork.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the work completed under the first Phase, including house listing, administrative Preparations, maintenance of records, updating of maps and arrangements related to Charges and census circles, along with other aspects Prescribed by the Census Directorate. The District Magistrate directed that all records and data Jertaining to the first hase be maintained systematically and that Preparations for the next Phase be completed within the Prescribed Timeframe.
He remarked that the Census serves as a vital foundation for nation-building and the effective implementation of development Schemes. Therefore, he instructed all officials to Ensure complete accuracy, transparency, and accountability in the forthcoming Phases. He also expressed confidence that, through continued coordination and teamwork, the officials would carry out the remaining census activities with greater efficiency and quality.
The meeting also Provided an opportunity for officials to Share suggestions for making the census Process more effective and the roadmap for the upcoming phase was discussed in JE Detail.
