Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary S.P. Goyal conducted a comprehensive review of the supply, availability and distribution system of fertilizers.
Keeping the upcoming Kharif crop season in mind, the Chief Secretary issued strict directives to Prepare a comprehensive Strategy for fertilizer supply and to ensure a transparent distribution system. He Clearly stated that No Shortage of fertilizers Should be allowed anywhere and that availability must be ensured in advance according to demand, so that farmers do not face any inconvenience during the sowing Period.
He also instructed officials to launch a campaign against hoarding and black marketing and to take Stringent action against those involved. Additionally, he emphasized that 100% distribution of subsidized fertilizers must be carried out only through POS (Point of Sale) Machines. Regular monitoring of fertilizer availability and distribution at all sales centers should be ensured, along with special vigilance in districts located near international and interstate Borders.
The Meeting was attended by Principal Secretary (Cooperation) Ajay Kumar Shukla, Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies Yogesh Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Amit Singh and other Senior Officials.
