Amid the excitement, a new synopsis for the highly anticipated crossover film has release, offering new clues about the story as tickets for premium screenings start rolling out. While Marvel has not announced an official date for the trailer, the timing of the new synopsis and promotional campaign has led to speculation that the first full look at the film could come during the studio’s Hall H presentation on July 25.

Marvel Studios has released an updated synopsis teasing the massive “existential threat” posed to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The full synopsis reads:

Marvel announced that three beloved heroes from three different universes are on a deadly collision course as they face an existential threat, the likes of which has never been seen before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The official description also teases that the film will set the stage for what’s to come in the MCU, suggesting that whatever happens will have long-lasting repercussions that will carry over into future Marvel projects.
One of the biggest talking points about the synopsis is that it specifically mentions three universes. Marvel isn’t going with the wider multiverse terminology. Instead, it’s focusing on the fact that heroes from three different realities will come together. This means the crossover will revolve around a specific set of worlds, rather than an infinite multiverse.

Tickets sales amid Comic-Con excitement
Marvel has also begun preparing for the film’s theatrical rollout. According to reports, the film will be about 165 minutes long (2 hours and 45 minutes). This duration places it as the second-longest movie in the Avengers franchise, sitting between Avengers: Infinity War (149 minutes) and Avengers: Endgame (181 minutes).
Advance ticket sales have gone live, nearly five months before the film’s theatrical release, although repots claim the bookings will initially be limited to premium Infinity Vision screenings. Availability of standard-format tickets is expected to follow later.
