Emphasis on Improving Work Culture in the Energy Department.
Lucknow: During his visit to Mau today, Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma distributed safety equipment to electricity department employees at a program organized at the multipurpose Mangalam Bhawan.
he said that electricity workers play a leading role in the development of the state and their safety, respect and welfare are top priorities for the government. Handing over safety helmets, gloves, belts, shoes and other equipment to the employees Sharma said, “Your safety is your greatest responsibility. When you remain safe, the entire state will remain illuminated.”
He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, continuous efforts are being made to strengthen and make the power system of the state more transparent. He instructed the officers and employees to give top priority to public service and to complete every task on time with quality and efficiency.
Sharma said that the Energy Department is not just a means of power supply but a mission of public service. He urged the employees to contribute to the state development with dedication, discipline and honesty.
While interacting with the workers, Sharma said that dedication to duty is your true identity. He encouraged everyone to work safely with discipline, and with a spirit of service. He also directed the officials to ensure that all necessary equipment, training and facilities are provided in time to linemen and ground staff working in the field so that no employee falls victim to any safety hazard.
On this occasion, departmental officers, local Public representatives, Executive Engineers (Electricity), Executive Officers other concerned officials and a large number of electricity workers were present.
