Sachin Malik: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has Granted financial and administrative approval worth ₹20.79 crore for various road Projects, Government housing construction and Public utility development works under infrastructure development across different assembly constituencies of the State.
The Chief Minister directed all concerned officials to ensure Quality and timely execution of these Projects. He Stated that the State Government is continuously working towards Strengthening roads, housing and Public infrastructure across the State. Completion of these Projects will Provide better transportation, improved basic facilities and overall development benefits to local Residents.
The Chief Minister approved a total of ₹1.29 crore for the construction of one Type residential unit for judicial officers in Tanakpur, district Champawat. As the first installment, 60% of the amount, i.e., ₹77.61 lakh, has been sanctioned, including a central Share of ₹69.85 lakh and a State Share of ₹7.76 lakh. Additionally, approval was granted for the first installment of ₹89.80 lakh against the sanctioned amount of ₹2.24 crore for the construction of a non-residential building for the Civil Defence Office under the Home Guards and Civil Defence Headquarters.
Further approvals include ₹3.52 crore for the reconstruction and improvement of the 5.410 km Kamand–Thauldhar motor road in Thauldhar block of Tehri Garhwal District, ₹4.01 crore for the Binatoli to Garkot motor road construction in Garud block of Bageshwar district for the financial Year 2026–27 and ₹2.22 crore for the blacktopping and improvement of the Chaplodi–Phaldwari motor road in Pabo block under Srinagar Assembly constituency in Pauri Garhwal District.
The Chief Minister also approved ₹4.01 crore for the 5.50 km CC and improvement work on the Dunikhal–Ratighat Pedestrian route in Betalghat block of Nainital district; ₹1.03 crore for the construction of a four-lane access-controlled corridor from National Highway-72 (Lachhiwala) via Guler Sports Stadium to Raipur (Maharana Pratap Chowk) in Dehradun district and ₹3.67 crore for improvement works on the Bilkedar–Gaurikot motor road in Pauri Assembly constituency. Additionally, financial and administrative approval of ₹66.02 lakh has been granted for the construction of separate toilet facilities for men, women, transgender Persons and differently-abled individuals in Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi Districts.
