Sachin Malik: After assuming Charge, Uttar Pradesh Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Bhupendra Chaudhary held a departmental review meeting in Assembly Hall Room No. 80 and directed officials to further Strengthen the role of the MSME sector in transforming the State into a developed economy. Minister of State Hansraj Vishwakarma was also Present on the Occasion.
Minister Chaudhary Stated that creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurs is the government top Priority. He instructed officials to ensure comprehensive support to entrepreneurs at every Stage — from Setting up enterprises to Production, marketing and exports — so that investment and employment opportunities continue to grow Steadily.
During the meeting, while reviewing departmental Progress, officials informed that more than 9.6 million MSME units are currently operating in the State, Providing employment and Self-employment opportunities to over 30 million People. It was also highlighted that the MSME Sector contributes nearly 46 Percent to the State total exports, reflecting its significant economic importance.
Minister Bhupendra Chaudhary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the department Schemes would be implemented at a faster Pace. He directed officials to Promote Self-Reliance among youth and traditional artisans through the Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment Scheme and the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Scheme. He also emphasized Prioritizing Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes in the implementation of these Schemes.
He Stressed the effective implementation of the “Chief Minister Micro Enterprise Accident Insurance Scheme” and the “Uttar Pradesh Micro and Small Industries Technology Upgradation Scheme,” Stating that entrepreneurs Should be empowered not only with security but also with modern technology. Additionally, he instructed officials to encourage the establishment of Private industrial Parks across the State and modernize all District Industries Centers.
Minister Chaudhary expressed confidence that the MSME Sector would Play a crucial role in establishing Uttar Pradesh as one of the country leading and developed States, while also Generating large-Scale employment opportunities for the Youth.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary MSME Shashi Bhushan Lal Sushil, Special Secretary Shishir Singh, Commissioner and Director of Industries K. Vijendra Pandian, along with other departmental Officials.
