Sachin Malik: A Public Grievance hearing under the “Sambhav” initiative was organized at the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation headquarters, Where Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik listened to Public complaints along with civic officials and ensured their resolution. Most of the complaints received were related to the Construction and Water Works departments. The Municipal Commissioner directed departmental teams to visit the concerned locations and take immediate action on the issues Raised.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Jung Bahadur Yadav, Additional Municipal Commissioner Avneendra Kumar, General Manager (Water Works) Kamakhya Prasad Anand, Dr. Anuj (In-Charge, Horticulture), Property In-Charge Pallavi Singh, Chief Engineer (Construction) Narendra Kumar Chaudhary and other concerned officials were Present during the Hearing.
A Total of 18 Complaints/references were received, including seven related to the Construction Department, one related to the Health Department, two related to the Horticulture Department, four related to the Water Works Department, one encroachment-related matter, two Property-Related Complaints and one concerning other departments. Residents visiting the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation Presented issues related to their respective areas before the civic Officials.
During the Sambhav Public hearing, the Municipal Commissioner instructed all officials to remain Present on time and issued Strict directions making it mandatory for officers from every department to attend the grievance hearing. Residents from different Parts of the City Presented their Problems and suggestions before the Municipal Commissioner, following Which teams were immediately dispatched to the concerned locations for action. In this sequence, residents from Kavi Nagar, Mohan Nagar, Vijay Nagar, City area, Vasundhara and Indirapuram raised their concerns before the municipal authorities during the Sambhav Hearing.
