New Delhi : Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Aditya Dhar are reportedly planning to reunite for another movie after the massive success of Dhurandhar duology. While no official announcements have been made yet, reports suggest that the film will go on floors in the first half of next year. Here’s what we know so far:

Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar last joined their forces for Dhurandhar movies which achieved historical box office success. It seems that the duo is planning to collaborate once again for another banger. While details of the same are not out yet completely, reports have emerged that Ranveer and Aditya will team up for another movie.
The director is reportedly begun developing his next project and it seems that Ranveer is the frontrunner to lead it. Reports also suggest that the director is planning to take the yet-untitled film on floors by March 2027. The director has already begun working on what is reported to be a fresh idea.
According to Pinkvilla, a source said, “Aditya Dhar has cracked an idea and is currently working on it. He’s excited about the concept and is developing it actively, with a plan to start the film by March 2027.”
About ‘Dhurandhar’ duology
The Dhurandhar film series, featuring Ranveer Singh, has been a massive commercial success. The duology has grossed over Rs 3,000 crore worldwide.
Dhurandhar (2025) minted more than Rs 1,000 crore, while Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge (2026) has exceeded Rs 1,780 crore worldwide as of late April 2026.
Dhurandhar follows the story of Hamza aka Jaskirat, a secret Indian agent who has been sent to Pakistan for Operation Dhurandhar. Hamza is tasked with paralysing the internal criminal networks in Lyari that are responsible for major terrorist attacks in India.
Dhurandhar 2 is the sequel to Dhurandhar (2025) as Hamza entrenches himself deeper in the underworld web to exact revenge on those responsible for targeting India. Apart from Ranveer, the Dhurandhar 2 also has R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and others reprising their roles.
