New Delhi: The Winter Session of Parliament, set to run from December 1 to 19, is expected to feature a strong legislative and reform-driven push from the government. The opposition, meanwhile, plans to spotlight matters such as the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, national security issues and environmental challenges.
Over the 19-day period, Parliament will meet for 15 sittings. Private Members’ Bills are slated for discussion on December 5 and 19, while Private Members’ resolutions will be taken up on December 12.
