Collective Resolve to Strengthen and Unite the Sanatan Society
Lucknow. A special discussion on the life and contributions of Jagat Guru Swami Ramanandacharya Ji Maharaj was organised on Sunday at the Narayan Sewa Sansthan campus (Deva Road, Barethi). During the programme, members of the Sanatan community collectively resolved to promote social harmony and work towards building a strong and prosperous Sanatani nation.
The Mahamana Malaviya Mission (Avadh) also administered a collective pledge for environmental conservation.
Addressing the gathering, RSS All-India Publicity Chief, Shri Swat Ranjan Ji, highlighted the invaluable contributions of Swami Ramanandacharya Ji. He said, “The Sanatan society has a glorious and rich past. Swami Ramanandacharya Ji worked tirelessly to eliminate caste discrimination and social divisions by connecting people through the path of devotion. His teachings inspired great saints like Sant Kabirdas and Sant Ramdas, who further worked to eradicate untouchability, inequality and social discrimination.”
He appreciated the welfare activities being carried out under the banner of Narayan Sewa Sansthan and extended his best wishes to the organisers.
Prabhu Narayan Ji, president and driving force of Narayan Sewa Sansthan, informed that the institution is running multiple vocational and skill-development programmes aimed at generating employment opportunities for local youth.
The programme was chaired by Ajay Srivastava, President of Bhagwan Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Trust.
The event was conducted by Vice President Abhishek Gupta, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Working President Vipin Singh.
Trustee Adv. K.D. Singh presented a detailed report on the various welfare programmes being run by the organisation.
At the concluding session, Sanjeev Srivastava (President, Mahamana Malaviya Mission – Avadh), Manoj Srivastava (National President, Kesariya Vahini) and Spokesperson Abhishek Ji distributed fruit-bearing and medicinal saplings among participants and administered an environmental protection pledge.
Prominent attendees included environmentalist and social worker R.P. Singh, social workers Ravi Kumar, Sudhir Kumar, Pramod Shukla, former Karyakarta Brijesh, Gudia and several hundred villagers, farmers and women.
