Sachin Malik: The Uttar Pradesh Government has announced a major relief measure for candidates appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-2026. As Per the Government directive, Students appearing for the examination Scheduled on June 21, 2026, will be entitled to a 50% concession on fares in Uttar Pradesh Urban Transport buses.
The concession will be available for two days- June 20 and June 21, 2026—to facilitate candidates’ travel to and from their examination Centres, ensuring a Smooth and hassle-free Journey.
To avail of the concession, candidates must Present their valid NEET-2026 Admit Card While travelling. Necessary instructions have been issued to all Regional Managers, Assistant Regional Managers, Depot In-charges, drivers and conductors to ensure that Eligible candidates receive the benefit without any Inconvenience.
The Government has also directed authorities to Publicize the Scheme extensively through bus Stations, enquiry counters and other appropriate Channels so that the maximum number of Students can take advantage of the facility.
The Uttar Pradesh Government remains Committed to the welfare of Students and continues to make every effort to Provide better transportation facilities during the examination Period, helping candidates focus on their academic Aspirations.
