New Delhi: A two-year-old post on X has resurfaced and gone viral as protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak continue across the country. The post, shared by an X user named Aravind shortly after the Modi 3.0 government took office, had predicted a series of nationwide protests during its tenure.
The post claimed that the country would witness protests over the NEET examination, demonstrations by doctors under the Indian Medical Association (IMA), large-scale farmers’ protests, agitations led by the Muslim community and protests by Khalistani supporters abroad.
With the NEET controversy now dominating national headlines, many social media users have begun sharing the post widely.
This comes after the May 3 NEET-UG 2026 examination, which was attended by more than 2.27 million candidates, was cancelled following allegations of a question paper leak.
The CBI is investigating the case, while protests by students and youth groups have continued in several parts of the country, with some demonstrations by Cockroach Janata Party leading to clashes with the police.
The viral post has triggered sharp debate on social media.
Supporters argue that several events mentioned in the post, including the NEET protests, farmers’ agitation and demonstrations by doctors, have unfolded as predicted. They say the developments highlight deeper political and institutional challenges.
However, critics disagree. They argue that issues such as examination irregularities, farmers’ concerns and protests by doctors were already visible in 2024, making the post a reasonable observation rather than an accurate prediction.
