Sachin Malik Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday targeted the Samajwadi Party over Government Jobs and Rural development. He said that those Who “Robbed the Youth of their Rights, deprived Dalits of Government Schemes and denied their due rights to backward communities” are now Changing colors like a Chameleon with new Slogans. For the SP, he Said, development meant only Saifai. Challenging the SP and Congress, Chief Minister Yogi said that the Government has set a target of Providing Government Jobs to one lakh Youths within Six months. “Let them keep counting: we will continue distributing appointment letters,” he Said.

Chief Minister Yogi was addressing an appointment-letter distribution ceremony for 1,375 Gram Panchayat Officers Selected by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) under the Mission Rozgar initiative. Congratulating the newly appointed officers and their families, he said that the Commission had completed the Selection Process within the Stipulated timeframe in a fair and transparent Manner.

Despite Being Qualified, Jobs Remained Out of Reach

Chief Minister Yogi said that before 2017, the announcement of a Government Job vacancy would immediately raise apprehensions. Even Qualified candidates from Poor families without influence remained deprived of Government Jobs. He said the Government Changed the System to Eliminate this nexus and corruption. Today, he said, 9.5 lakh Youths have secured Government Jobs.

He said that Uttar Pradesh was once counted among the five most backward States in the country, Whereas today it is among the top three State economies. The Size of the economy, Per-capita income and the State budget have all increased threefold, he Said.

For SP, Development Meant Only Saifai

Chief Minister Yogi alleged that for the SP Government, development meant only Saifai. It had no concern for the remaining villages and districts of the State, he said. The Central Government wanted to Provide houses and toilets to the Poor, but the then State Government did not allow these Schemes to be implemented, he alleged. Whenever the issue of housing for the Poor arose, the SP wanted to benefit its cadre, he Claimed.

Parallel Mafia Governments Operated in Every District

Chief Minister Yogi said that before 2017, a Parallel Government run by Mafias operated in every district. Convoys of vehicles carrying armed men used to move around and disturbances would begin ahead of festivals and Celebrations. He said the Government took effective action against the Mafia Network and lawlessness. Today, Uttar Pradesh is moving forward on the Path of development, free from curfews, riots, unrest and Mafia activities, he Said.

Appointment Letters to Be Distributed Again from October

Chief Minister Yogi said that the SP President had been Claiming that appointment letters were not being distributed. September, he said, has already Seen the fourth appointment-letter distribution Programme. Appointment letters will again be distributed from the first week of October. The Government has set a target of Providing Government appointment letters to one lakh Youths over the next six months, he Said.

Referring to the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, the Chief Minister said that he Sacrificed his life for the country at the age of Just 23. Many of the Youths receiving appointment letters are also between 20 and 27 Years of age. He urged them to Channel their energy and talent towards the Prosperity of the State.

Not Panchayat Bhawans, but Gram Sachivalayas

Chief Minister Yogi said that Gram Sachivalayas have now been established in Villages. These facilities Provide offices for the Gram Pradhan and Gram Panchayat Officer, along with Seating arrangements for the Lekhpal, BC Sakhi and Panchayat Assistant. Digital libraries and conference Rooms are also being Provided.

He said villagers no longer have to make repeated trips to block and tehsil offices for services such as birth, income and residence certificates. BC Sakhis, Panchayat Assistants, Annapurna Bhawans and Utsav Bhawans are also creating new employment opportunities, he Said.

Additional Funds for Panchayats That Increase Their Own Revenue

Chief Minister Yogi said Gram Panchayats can increase their revenue by making better use of their land, Shops and Ponds. Fisheries can be Promoted in Ponds that do not have Religious Significance. He said that the more revenue a Gram Panchayat Generates on its own, the more additional funds the Government will Provide. He urged the newly appointed officers to work with the vision of developing model and Smart Gram Panchayats.

Chief Minister Yogi said that the dream of a developed India would be fulfilled through a developed Uttar Pradesh and the dream of a developed Uttar Pradesh would be achieved through Self-Reliant and developed Gram Panchayats. The Newly appointed Gram Panchayat Officers, he said, would Play an important role as key drivers of this Vision.

Rates Were Fixed According to the Job: Rajbhar

Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar alleged that under the SP Government, middlemen became active as Soon as a Government Job advertisement was issued and the amount demanded was fixed according to the Post. Today, he said, Government Jobs are being Provided without taking Money.

Jobs Now Being Provided Without Bribery: Shahi

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that due to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Efforts, 9.5 lakh Youths have received Government Jobs without bribery or Corruption.

Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Legislative Council Member Dr. Mahendra Singh, MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora, Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj, Ravindra Kumar and Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Chairman S.N. Saman were among those Present at the Programme.
