New Delhi: Feet often get ignored in daily skincare despite facing the most sun exposure, dust and dryness. Over time, this leads to tanning, rough patches and uneven tone. While there are many salon treatments, a basic home routine can also help restore softness and brightness. Natural ingredients like lemon, coffee, besan and curd have exfoliating, cleansing and tan-lightening properties that refresh the skin without harsh chemicals. This three-step method focuses on cleansing, scrubbing and nourishing the skin barrier for visible improvement.

It is easy to follow, does not need specialised tools and fits well into regular self-care. People can try this weekly to maintain smooth, even-toned feet and avoid dullness caused by daily wear. Here is a detailed guide to get started at home.

1. Warm lemon water soak

Prepare a bowl of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice. Soak your feet for 10-15 minutes to loosen dirt and soften dry skin. The mildly acidic property of lemon helps reduce tan and refresh the skin surface, while the warmth improves relaxation.

2. Coffee and sugar scrub

Combine coffee powder, sugar and a small amount of lemon juice to form a coarse scrub. Massage gently on the feet for a few minutes, focusing on heels and rough areas. This removes dead skin buildup and improves instant smoothness and brightness.

3. Besan and curd mask

Make a paste using besan, coffee powder, a pinch of turmeric and curd. Apply it evenly on the feet and leave for 10-12 minutes before washing off. The mask helps nourish the skin, supports an even tone and leaves a soft finish.

Regular use of this simple routine can gradually improve texture and appearance, giving feet a clean and well-maintained look without expensive treatments.
