NEW DELHI : Yuva for Viksit Bharat: PM SHRI schools across the country have officially commenced a series of drawing and debate competitions under the banner of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Running from September 17 to October 17, 2026, this nationwide educational drive provides a dynamic creative platform for young students.
The initiative actively encourages participants to articulate their perspectives on “Seva Karyon” over the past 25 years while outlining their aspirations for a “Viksit Bharat”. Aligned with the Yuva for Viksit Bharat Programme 2026, the month-long event aims to foster active student participation in national development and civil service.
Engaging Youth in 25 Years of Service
The competitions are designed to encourage students to research and reflect upon the significant community service initiatives and social development milestones achieved over the last quarter-century. Through public speaking and fine arts, students explore how grassroots service projects have shaped local communities across India.
Channeling Creative Expressions for Viksit Bharat
By integrating artistic creation with structured debating, the program inspires participants to paint and present their original visions for a fully developed India. The themes encourage imaginative solutions to modern challenges, spanning education, technology, environmental sustainability, and public welfare.
Aligning with Yuva for Viksit Bharat Programme 2026
This initiative operates as a core component of the broader Yuva for Viksit Bharat Programme 2026, empowering school students to view themselves as key contributors to nation-building. By participating in these regional and national-level events, youth gain valuable civic awareness and leadership skills necessary to drive future socio-economic progress.
