Sachin Malik Uttar: Uttar Pradesh Minister for Urban Development and Energy, A.K. Sharma, today flagged off the expansion of New railway services for the Purvanchal region from Mau Railway Station. The initiative marks a Significant Step toward Strengthening rail connectivity in the region, made Possible through his continuous Efforts and Persistent advocacy for Public Welfare.
Under the new arrangements, a new Dohrighat–Varanasi MEMU train Service has been launched. In addition, the Mau–Anand Vihar (Delhi) Express and the Chhapra–Anand Vihar Superfast Express will now operate via Mau, Providing major relief to Millions of Passengers across Purvanchal by making travel more convenient and Accessible.
On the occasion, A.K. Sharma expressed his Gratitude to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Stating that he had Sincerely addressed the long-Standing demands and needs of the People of Purvanchal. On behalf of the region residents, Sharma extended his heartfelt thanks for the valuable Support.
He Said that Indian Railways has emerged as a key Growth engine of the nation Economy, with every locomotive contributing Significantly to the vision of a Developed India (Viksit Bharat). Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian Railways is moving forward with renewed speed and energy to realize this national Vision.
During the event, Minister Sharma also requested Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to convert the Mau–Anand Vihar Express from a weekly to a daily service, ensuring Greater convenience for Passengers. He further informed the Railway Minister that several railway development Projects in Mau district are Progressing following his initiative. These include the construction of the 25-C and 27-C Railway underpasses at Gotha and he urged that these Projects be completed at the Earliest.
Sharma emphasized that the expansion of railway services is not merely about introducing new trains but represents a Significant milestone in accelerating the Social and economic development of Purvanchal. Improved rail connectivity will facilitate trade, employment, education and healthcare access While opening new avenues for the region overall Progress.
