Prakash Mehra Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important message for candidates ahead of the NEET-UG 2026 examination. With only three days remaining before the exam, the agency has appealed to students to remain calm, maintain confidence, and stay away from misleading information circulating on social Media.
In a Post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the NTA stated that candidates have worked hard for a long time to prepare for the examination, and now is the time to trust their efforts. The agency advised students to get adequate rest during the final days before the exam, avoid mental stress, and maintain a positive mindset.
In its message, the NTA said, “The NEET-UG 2026 examination is now only three days away. You have worked hard, prepared thoroughly, and now it is time to trust your efforts. Stay calm, rest well, and focus on giving your best performance. That is all that is expected from you.”
Examination Will Be Conducted as Scheduled
The agency has clarified that the NEET-UG 2026 examination will be conducted on June 21 according to the pre-determined schedule. The NTA warned candidates and parents not to pay attention to any rumors regarding the postponement or cancellation of the examination.
The agency stated that various social media platforms are circulating several misleading and unverified claims about the examination, which have no connection with reality. The NTA appealed to students to rely only on the official website and authorized communication channels for information.
Special Arrangements for Security and Transparency
The NTA also assured candidates that extensive arrangements have been made to conduct the examination in a secure, fair, and transparent manner. Security measures at examination centers have been strengthened, and additional monitoring mechanisms have been implemented to eliminate the possibility of any irregularities.
Examination Had Previously Been Cancelled
It is noteworthy that the NEET-UG examination held on May 3, 2026, became controversial following discussions about an alleged paper leak and various complaints. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the examination was subsequently cancelled. As a result, millions of candidates had to wait for the re-examination.
The NTA has now completed preparations for conducting the examination again, and NEET-UG 2026 will be held on June 21 at designated examination centers across the country.
