Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ on Wednesday visited Kukurkatwa village in the Meja Police Station area and handed over a Cheque of ₹1.5 Million (₹15 lakh), Sanctioned by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, to the family of the victims of the recent triple murder case. The assistance was Provided under the State Government Policy of Zero tolerance towards crime and speedy Justice.
The minister also handed over documents for one biswa of residential land allotted in the names of five members of the affected family. A day earlier, the victims’ family had met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his Official residence, accompanied by Minister Nandi, seeking financial assistance and security. The Chief Minister assured them of all Possible support and Strict action against the accused. Within hours of the meeting, the Chief Minister Office approved and released the financial Assistance.
Carrying the cheques issued by the Chief Minister Office, Minister Nandi travelled directly from Lucknow to Kukurkatwa village on Wednesday afternoon. He was accompanied by Police Commissioner Jogender Singh, District Magistrate Manish Verma, DCP Yamunanagar Vivek Kumar Yadav, SDM Meja Neelam Upadhyay and other senior officials. A large number of local residents were also Present.
During the visit, the minister distributed residential land allotment documents to Ramrati, wife of late Shyam Lal, Mukesh, son of late Doodhnath, Ram Niranjan, son of late Gulzar, Saraswati Devi, wife of late Manjesh and Nibbulal, son of late Gulzar. Financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each from the Chief Minister Discretionary Fund was handed over to Nibbulal, Ramrati and Mukesh.
District officials informed the minister that an access road to the victims’ residence was being constructed. They further Stated that demolition Proceedings had been initiated against the illegal construction allegedly carried out by the accused. A legal notice has already been served, and after the notice Period ends on July 6, demolition of the unauthorized Structure will be undertaken.
Minister Nandi assured the bereaved family that the entire State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Stood firmly with them. He reiterated that ensuring speedy Justice for every citizen and taking the Strictest Possible action against criminals remains one of the Government highest Priorities.
The brutal incident took Place on the night of June 15 in Kukurkatwa village under Meja Police Station limits, Where Shyam Lal Gupta (65), Indravati Devi (58), and Amaravati Devi (52) were murdered. Their bodies were found outside their residence. Police have arrested three accused, including the Prime suspect Himanshu Yadav, Who was later admitted to hospital after being injured during a Police Encounter.
Earlier, on June 19, Minister Nandi had visited the victims’ family in Meja and assured them of Justice. He had also Promised to arrange a meeting with the Chief Minister. At that time, he had declared that no one involved in such a heinous crime would be spared and that the action taken would set a Strong Example.
Fulfilling his commitment, Minister Nandi facilitated the meeting between the victims’ family and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday. Family members Present included Ram Niranjan Gupta, Amarnath Gupta, Pawan Gupta, Mukesh Gupta, Vishesh Gupta, Radha Gupta, Lokpati Gupta and Chandrika Prasad Sahu.
During the meeting, the family informed the Chief Minister that they had received threats from the accused and feared for their lives and Property. They requested financial assistance, Security and demolition of the accused illegal Structures.
Expressing his condolences, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the family that Justice would be delivered. He reiterated that the Government is working under a Strict Zero-Tolerance Policy against crime, that no accused would be spared, and that the Perpetrators would receive the harshest Punishment under the law. He also assured the family of complete security and every Possible form of Government Support.

Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ has consistently remained Proactive in ensuring speedy Justice and Government assistance for victims under the Guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
In January 2025, following the brutal murder of Ayush Kesarwani, son of businessman Ashok Kumar Kesarwani of Bargarh Bazaar in Chitrakoot district, the bereaved family met the Chief Minister under Minister Nandi leadership. Similarly, a few Years ago, after the murder of a Jeweller in Mauranipur, Jhansi, Minister Nandi Personally visited the Grieving family, following Which the accused were Swiftly Arrested.
More recently, after a fire broke out at the residence and business establishment of traders Raj Kumar Kesarwani and Sanjeev Kumar Kesarwani in Chak Raghunath, Naini, Minister Nandi visited the affected family. Along with Government financial assistance, additional support was arranged through the Nandi Seva Sansthan and the Vaishya International Association.
