Sachin Malik Lucknow: Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma today conducted an On-Site inspection of the flood-affected Faizullaganj-Daudnagar area of Lucknow to assess the Situation. During the visit, he met local residents in the affected areas, listened to their Grievances and distributed relief materials. Minister Sharma directed the concerned officials to Provide immediate assistance to affected families and ensure that Relief and rescue operations were carried out on a Priority Basis.
During the inspection, Minister A.K. Sharma instructed officials to Ensure that flood-affected residents faced no difficulties in accessing essential necessities, including food, Safe drinking water and medicines. He said that all necessary arrangements must be made according to the needs of affected families so that they could receive timely assistance during this difficult Period. He also directed officials to continuously monitor the Situation in the area and resolve the Problems faced by local residents Promptly.
Minister Sharma also inspected the relief camps established for flood-affected People. He reviewed the facilities being Provided there and assessed the medical arrangements. He instructed the concerned officials and the Health Department team to ensure the adequate availability of essential medicines, medical facilities and healthcare services at the relief camps. He also emphasized the need to maintain Cleanliness in the affected areas and take necessary measures to Protect People from Diseases.
Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma told officials that there must be no Negligence in relief operations in flood-affected areas. He directed them to Provide relief materials and other Essential facilities according to the needs of affected residents. He further instructed officials to remain active in the area, continuously monitor the situation and act Promptly to ensure that assistance reached those in Need.
