New Delhi: The trailer of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, starring Kangana Ranaut, was released on Tuesday (June 2). The film is based on true events and narrates the story of the hospital workers who protected 400 patients during the 26/11 attacks at Mumbai’s Cama and Albless Hospital.
The trailer begins with Kangana, who plays the role of a nurse, taking care of the patients along with other hospital staff. The film further explores the challenges nurses face, including being overlooked within the medical system and being subjected to insults by patients’ relatives. However, these nurses were also the reason 400 patients survived amid the terror attack in Mumbai.
The clip shows nurses risking their own safety to care for injured patients, providing urgent medical treatment while hiding them in hospital rooms to protect them from the terrorists. The scene captures the courage and dedication of nurses who care for wounded patients and arrange safe hiding places for them within the hospital amid the terrorist attack.
Written and directed by Manoj Tapadia, the film also stars Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Agashe, Aditya Mishra, and Zahid Khan. It is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12, 2026.
