Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Minister for Urban Development and Energy, A.K. Sharma conducted an On-Site inspection of various development Projects and Drainage-Related works in the Lucknow Municipal Corporation area on Wednesday. During the visit, he directed officials to ensure that all Projects are completed within the Stipulated time While maintaining high Quality Standards.
The Minister Stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh Government is continuously working to Provide better urban infrastructure and transform cities into Clean, Safe and Waterlogging-free urban Centers.
The inspection began at Shaktivan, a major Green development Project being developed under the Upvan Yojana on encroachment-free land along Ayodhya Road and the Kukrail River.
Expressing Satisfaction with the Progress of the Project, the Minister Instructed officials to ensure large-Scale Plantation work before the onset of the monsoon. He described the Project as a Significant initiative towards environmental conservation and the expansion of the city Green Cover.
Subsequently, Sharma inspected the main drainage canal in the Maithili Sharan Gupt Ward near Ghazipur Police Station. The drainage Cleaning work was found to be Satisfactory. He directed officials to Provide the required covering at the canal Junction with Ayodhya Road and carry out additional Cleaning to ensure uninterrupted water flow and Prevent inconvenience to Residents.
The Minister also visited the newly constructed drain in Sector-D, Indira Nagar. Officials informed him that the Project would Substantially reduce waterlogging during the rainy season. He instructed the concerned authorities to ensure regular Cleaning of the main junction near Kalewa Tiraha to maintain an efficient Drainage Eystem.
During the inspection, Sharma also reviewed the under-construction drain near Munshipulia in Sector-D. He issued Clear directions that the Project must be completed before the monsoon season so that local residents do not face waterlogging Problems.
Minister A.K. Sharma emphasized that continuous monitoring and field inspections of Public utility Projects are being carried out to ensure that the benefits of development Schemes reach citizens on time. He directed officials to execute all works with Quality, transparency and Strict adherence to Timelines.
