New Delhi: Delhi University has released the tentative schedule and venue details for the Extra Curricular Activities ECA quota physical trials for UG Admissions 2026. Physical trials for most ECA categories will begin from July 16, while the undergraduate admission process through the Common Seat Allocation System CSAS portal is already underway.
The university has also shared important instructions for candidates including travel planning venue details and the process to request a change in trial dates.
DU ECA trial schedule 2026 detailed dates to Be released by July 14
According to Delhi University the detailed trial schedule with the date and reporting time allotted to each candidate will be released by July 14 after the application correction window closes.
The university has made it clear that candidates will not receive separate messages regarding their trial schedule. Students must regularly visit the official university website to check their allotted date time and venue.
Important advisory for outstation DU aspirants
Delhi University has advised candidates travelling from outside Delhi to book their tickets for any date within the trial period of their respective ECA category instead of waiting for their individual trial schedule. This has been suggested to help students avoid last minute travel issues and ticket unavailability.
Candidates have also been advised to arrange accommodation near their trial venue for a smoother experience.
Can candidates change their ECA trial date
The university has said that students whose allotted trial date clashes with their already booked travel plans can submit a written request for a change in the trial date.
Delhi University will consider such requests depending on availability during the trial period.
Delhi University ECA trial dates 2026 category wise schedule
As per the tentative schedule physical trials for Dance Debate Vocal Music and Theatre will begin from July 16 and are expected to continue for about one week except Sunday.
Yoga trials will begin from July 17 and are likely to continue for around two days.
Quiz trials are scheduled for July 20 while Fine Arts trials will also begin on the same day and continue for three to four days.
Creative Writing Instrumental Music Digital Media and Divinity trials will start from July 21.

- Dance trials will be held at Bharati College
- Debate trials will take place at Ramjas College
- Theatre trials will be conducted at Miranda House
- Vocal Music Women trials will be held at Mata Sundri College
- Instrumental Music trials will take place at Sri Aurobindo College Day
- Creative Writing trials will be conducted at Hansraj College
- Digital Media trials will be held at Maharaja Agrasen College
- Fine Arts trials will take place at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College
- Divinity trials will be conducted at Rajdhani College
- Yoga trials will be held at P G D A V Evening College
- Quiz trials will take place at Zakir Hussain Delhi College Evening
No physical trials for NCC and NSS categories
Delhi University has confirmed that students applying under the NCC and NSS categories will not have to appear for physical trials.
When will DU upload ECA trial marks
The university said that candidates’ marks are expected to be uploaded on the admission portal around July 25 or July 26.
After the marks are published a grievance window will remain open for two to three days allowing students to raise objections if required.
