New Delhi: Thousands of CBSE students waiting for their re-evaluation, re-assessment and verification results may not have to wait much longer.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said the board is close to completing its post-result processes and will publish the remaining results soon.
CBSE RESULTS EXPECTED SOON
While addressing students ahead of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, Pradhan also shared an important update for CBSE candidates whose applications are still under process.
“Not only will the NEET exam be held today, but the remaining CBSE results will also be released very soon. Results for approximately 15,50,000 out of 17,00,000 students have already been released. Those who applied for re-evaluation, re-assessment, and re-verification are almost complete. The CBSE will publish them soon,” he said.
The statement is likely to bring relief to students who have been waiting for updates on their answer script verification and rechecking requests.
‘WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY DISRUPTION’
Pradhan also assured students that authorities remain focused on ensuring that academic processes are completed without unnecessary delays.
“We will not allow any disruption to the children. We assure you of this today,” he said.
The minister’s remarks came on a day when nearly 22 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, conducted after the cancellation of the earlier test following the paper leak controversy.
While NEET dominated national attention, Pradhan’s comments offered a significant update for CBSE students as well, suggesting that pending post-result processes are nearing completion and official results could be released shortly.
APPEAL MADE DURING NEET RE-TEST MESSAGE
The minister made the remarks while addressing concerns around the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination, which was being conducted after the earlier test was cancelled following the paper leak controversy.
Expressing confidence in the examination process, he said, “NEET-UG re-examination is going to take place today. I have complete faith in the NTA, all the state governments, the district administrations, the Indian education sector, and especially in India’s students. Sit fearlessly, without worry, and you will definitely do well.”
He also urged political leaders, public figures and other stakeholders not to add to students’ stress.
“They have faith in India’s system and will continue to have it. May this unwavering faith remain. As a parent and as a social worker, I request you: Please do not jeopardize the future of India’s new generation. Let no one make a mockery of it. Let us not do anything that will impact the mental health of the children.”
With both the NEET re-test and pending CBSE post-result processes in focus, Pradhan’s message centred on one theme: keeping students free from unnecessary anxiety during a crucial phase of their academic journey.
